Problem Statement
Developing a comprehensive Go-To-Market (GTM) playbook for DelightLoop targeting the Field Marketing and Events persona to position the platform as the premier event orchestration engine.
Problem Description
Field marketing teams and event professionals manage significant budgets for VIP dinners, roadshows, and trade shows. However, they consistently struggle with fragmented workflows—relying on separate, disconnected tools for audience discovery, pre-event invitations, and post-event conversion. DelightLoop’s Discover-Engage-Activate loop perfectly solves this end-to-end event lifecycle.
The objective of this project is to build a complete, ready-to-execute GTM play that targets Field Marketing and Event leaders. To successfully sell DelightLoop into this specific vertical, the GTM play must define the exact market signals for outreach, the tailored positioning required to resonate with event marketers, and the multi-channel sequence needed to acquire them as customers.
Problems Identified
- Signal Definition Problem — Identifying the exact digital and real-world triggers (e.g., event sponsorships, roadshow announcements, webinar schedules) that indicate a Field Marketer is a prime target for outreach.
- Positioning Translation Problem — Aligning DelightLoop's core capabilities with the specific KPIs of event professionals, pivoting the narrative toward metrics like VIP show rates and post-event pipeline ROI.
- Sequence Construction Problem — Designing a highly converting, multi-channel outbound cadence explicitly tailored for the pain points of the event marketing persona.
- Sales Enablement Problem — Formulating the specialized discovery frameworks and objection-handling assets required for sales teams to confidently close deals with Field Marketing leaders.
Metrics Directly Impacted
- Number of meetings booked with Field Marketing/Event titles.
- Pipeline generated from the Event GTM play.
- Conversion rate of outreach sequences targeting this persona.
- Sales cycle velocity for Field Marketing deals.
Expected Outcome
- Targeting & Signal Matrix: A defined list of signals that indicate an account is ripe for the Event play, complete with an Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) definition for the Field Marketing buyer.
- Messaging & Positioning Framework: Core messaging pillars that translate DelightLoop’s features into event-specific value propositions (e.g., eliminating waste in direct mail teasers, maximizing exclusive dinner attendance).
- The Outbound Sequence Play: A complete, multi-touch outreach cadence (emails, LinkedIn messages, call scripts) structured to capture the attention of event leaders.
- Sales Battlecard: An enablement document outlining discovery questions specifically for event marketers, handling their unique objections, and proving the platform's ROI.
